A Sense of Summer

Summer
Paradise
Color
Vacation
Fun
Trips
Watermelon
Swimming
Freedom
Sleep-overs
Parties
Outdoors
Ice-cream
Flowers
(What does summer remind you of?)

As you might have guess, I love summer.
And this one I get to share with you all!

For all you city folks, this is corn ...baby corn that is.

Ah, open country fields.

God has such an incredible sense design.
We are such copycats.
Remind you of anything? Perhaps a video game?
An old video game...haha.

Oh, and summer also means an end to spring unfortunately...

Bluebirds ~ Backyard Beauty

Excitement filled me to the brim when I saw that bluebirds were looking for a home around our house! These spectacular birds are by far one of my favorites. Their azul appearance against the dull winter world is amazing. Now, some of the later pictures may look somewhat darker and/or blurred. That is because the window that I took the picture through had a screen in it; and although you can't necessarily see the screen, it still was able to distort the picture a little.

Some of the bluebirds look brighter as well. That is because the male bluebird is much brighter than the female. Look closely, and you will be able to see that there really is a big difference between the two.

This is what you have to do when you have sparrows around your bluebird house.

Natural Beauty

Although none of you know this yet, I love taking pictures of nature. All of nature is full of diversity and life which makes it very fun to try to capture on my Rebel. Basic things that I love to take pictures of include plants, skies, fields, animals, water, people, landscapes, buildings, light, and exotic cuisine. Nature is a studio. In fact, I think it is the best studio. Here are a few pictures from my nature showcase.
